Website "dumb-down"

For those who follow, mylivingenergy.org, first of all, thank you for your support over the years. Secondly, I wanted to share my reasoning for simplifying my website to more of a blog only type format.

I opened my studio in April 2013.  4-years later I've gone through expansion, working to sort out new additional services that will complement the business, working on building a team with the right people etc.  Recently, I did a client survey to see what my clients (almost all of them have been with me between 2-10yrs now) would like to see added to what we currently offer.

~ You know what I learned?  ~

My clients are happy!  Some may be thinking, "duh! They've stuck around year after year with you". But as a business owner, and someone who cares for my clients happiness, energy and health I always strive to better myself and business.

After receiving answers to my client survey, I've learned that something that I built my business on (and although I veered away from it slightly in my opinion during expansion but thankfully returned to), it's simplicity that my clients want to keep, and enjoy.  When you think about it - it sure makes sense. What's left anymore that's simple and basic? Not much!  What is always the attributes we see in the best businesses, the best athletes, the top people in whatever they may do? They are masters of the basics and the simplicity of their craft.

So with that, I made a decision to switch my website to a simpler format and one that shows the part I'm passionate for, which is sharing information and thoughts.  My website was there as a hub for people to get to know me and my brand, but over the years, it's been my clients themselves (and past clients) who have done the branding for me. THEY make people aware of who I am and what I do, not my website traffic.

We'll see where it goes from here, but I'm excited to simplify yet another thing in my business/life. Having said that, you can still find the information necessary to learn about what we have to offer our clients, and about those who work here (found in the right hand column of the blog).

Please continue to share blog posts and the site, and I look forward to sharing more with everyone moving forward! :)
