Read the ingredients list! PLEASE!!!

I Just had to remind everyone that it's so important to learn what is good and especially what is bad when it comes to ingredients in your foods.
I was just checking off our Christmas sharing items for our team here at work. On the list is peanut butter.
In our box is a jar of Skippy peanut butter. I remember loving this as a kid. Tasted even better than "crappy Kraft" as I call it now. I now know why I loved it and why so many kids have such a hard time switching over to actual nut butters (peanut, almond etc). Here's the ingredients:
Freshly roasted peanuts, soybean oil, maltodextrin, icing sugar, hydrogenated vegetable oil, salt.
Out of 6 ingredients, 1 is ok; the peanuts. Icing sugar!?!!? Hydrogenated oils!!!?!? This is health issues in a jar!!! Seriously - why are we allowing ourselves and our kids to eat this!? The worst thing about it is that many people think this is actually peanut butter and that it's good for you. Slap it on some white bread and you're ready for; weight gain, cardiovascular issues, fatigue, "metabolic chaos" and more! Yummy!!
